Colerne Parish Council

The council has a number of assets which together are worth more than £1m and which are held in trust for the benefit of the community. It is a key responsibility to keep these assets in good order.

These assets are: The Old School, Pavilion, Recreation Ground, Martins Croft play area, Market Place toilets, war memorial, well head and various small items such as litter bins. The allotments are maintained by the council on land rented under a long-term lease.

Roads and footpaths are Wiltshire Council’s responsibility. The parish council has no responsibility for the school, mobile library, doctor’s surgery or other services provided by the state.
